Weston and I started talking in April 2017 and went on our first date in May of 2017. He took me to the firefly, and we were there for at least 3 hours. If I remember correctly, we were even the last ones to leave the restaurant that night. It was the best first date ever, and I left that night with a smile on my face. In fact, when I still think about our first date, I smile every time. I loved getting to know him that night and also the days after our first date. My favorite memory of that summer was when we knew we loved each other.

Our first Christmas together, his niece asked when he was going to marry me and he told her we had to wait a little longer. In fact, Weston always told me we would date for 5 years until we got engaged. A few months after our first Christmas, his niece asked again when we were going to get married and when I was going to become her aunt. A year and half after that, he finally asked me to marry him at Tuscan Hills Winery and then we celebrated with dinner at the firefly. I only had to wait 2.5 years for him to propose instead of the full 5 years like he intended thanks to his niece😉

Shelby was so helpful during my appointment and made sure I had the best experience. Not only did Shelby help me pick out my dream dress, but also my accessories. I couldn't wait to bring my bridesmaids and junior bridesmaid in to go dress shopping for them. I had ideas that I sent Shelby of what I wanted as a bridesmaid dress, and again I changed my mind the day we all went in. Jodi helped us pick out the perfect bridesmaid dress and she was amazing during the appointment. She let us look at different color swatches, helped us to pick out a dress that worked for all my bridesmaids, and even though they didn't carry junior bridesmaid dresses, Jodi still made sure to help us find a dress that would be perfect for a junior bridesmaid."
