Andrew and Emily met online over the conversation of the topic of coffee. Are you more of a Starbucks or Dunkin’ person? Let the romance begin. Their first date was at Monarch Brewery in Monticello, IL where the conversation went on for hours. Not sure either would say it was love at first sight but a second date was most certainly in the cards. Date number two was on a nice summer Friday evening in Champaign. There was live music on the patio and the conversation seemed to pick up right where it had left off. They shared sushi and a beer or two. As the evening went on Andrew made the comment, so what are your plans for the rest of the night” (palm to forehead… did he really just say that??). Fortunately, Emily did not let that comment hinder pursuing the relationship.
Emily first found Vayda Jane through her shopping experiences in the town of Effingham. Her mother and her would occasionally drive down to Effingham to shop at the local boutiques. Through this experience, she found the Bridal Venue and knew that she wanted to shop there for her wedding dress. Emily scheduled a wedding dress shopping date with her mother and mother-in-law centered on visiting Vayda Jane. Vayda Jane was a magical experience with trying on beautiful gowns and feeling like a star. With a wedding in July, Emily was seeking a simple, classic wedding dress that was light and comfortable. The stylist made her feel very comfortable and did get her to try on several different styles. She ultimately found ‘the one’ on the first trip and day shopping. Little did she know, that the train on this wedding dress made for stunning photos!
