James and I met when he came home from serving in the US Navy. The first time I saw him I remember how intimidated I was by his height, but as soon as we starting taking to each other all our walls came down. We clicked immediately. Everything came so easily together, and we both knew what we wanted! We walked into a shop just to look at rings, and to my surprise he walked out with one and proposed to me at the Effingham Cross in April of 2021. That October I got to marry my best friend!

I had a few ideas when I started looking at dresses, but really didn't know what I wanted. I tried several dresses that I 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 were what I was looking for.
Then, my lovely grandma asked me to try a dress that was in the window. I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I put it on I knew that was the dress I would be getting married in. There were happy tears all around and it meant the world to my grandma that she chose the winning dress! I had always been nervous about looking at wedding dresses, and I can be rather timid with new experiences, but the staff made me feel right at home and I had the absolute time of my life. I had such an amazing time, I came back to find bridesmaids dresses! We had so much fun and everything came together so beautifully."
