#VaydaJaneBride

Dalton and I met with us locking eyes after a business meeting in May of 2020. From that moment I knew I had to find a way to talk to him. Naturally, I found it best to creepily stalk him on social media. I was later encouraged by some friends to message him and we instantly hit it off. He asked when he could take me out on a date to which I responded, "When you get the backbone to ask me!" Needless to say, he developed the backbone quickly. Our first date was interesting, to say the least, with me doing most of the talking and him slowly nodding and remaining silent for most of the meal. He claims he could not get a word in edgewise. We both went home that evening and told our mothers that it just would not work out because the other talked too much or was too shy, respectively.
Our relationship took off from there with him asking me to officially be his girlfriend on the 4th of July in 2020 to which I responded, "Of course!" And a little over a year later, on September 17th, 2021 he proposed!
He was so thoughtful of every detail and made sure that the evening he proposed was a highly special one. After coming home from college in Murray for the weekend, he had asked if I would like to get all dressed up and go out for dinner followed by our favorite thing, dancing in the road. I thought nothing of it since we had not been out on a real” date since I moved to college. When I arrived home that day he had my mother and sister secretly con me into wearing his favorite dress of mine. When I first bought this dress he had told me that he would propose to me in it. He came to pick me up for the date with flowers in hand and off to dinner we went. The evening was perfect, complete with a beautiful sunset and we went out to our favorite country road. We turned off the truck and turned up the music and proceeded to dance in the middle of the road. After dancing to our favorite songs he got down on one knee to Earth Angel by the Penguins which has always been our absolute favorite song. I immediately burst out in tears. Dalton had to ask me again and asked if I even wanted to try the ring on, finally I answered, "YES, OF COURSE!"
We got married on February 5th of 2022 and we feel so blessed to be falling more in love with each other every day and are continuing to put God first in our relationship."
