We met at Dieterich 4th of July in 2017! I had just turned 18 and Clayton was 20! We got introduced through mutual friends. From the first date we just connected with our interests and friend groups. We easily got so comfortable with each other. It was just a no-brainer that we’d spend the rest of our lives together!
Clayton had a house and I was showing up one morning to help him clean (so romantic I know). Our dog came running out to greet me and he had a handkerchief around his neck that said, Will you marry my dad?” I totally thought it was a joke!! When I went up to the house door, Clayton was down on one knee with a ring! He had a whole surprise engagement party planned for us also and both our families were there. Amazing!
Our wedding day went so perfect and I was so happy to of done it the way we did! Everyone had a blast and that’s all I cared about!
