Jordan & I grew up going to church together. We were in the same second grade sunday school class! He had shown me throughout the years how much he loved me & would fight for me. We started dating in high school, so we got to grow up & mature together. The biggest change I noticed throughout the years was the way that he pursued a relationship with Jesus. That just continued to draw me to him.
We went on a double date to get lunch at Old Bakery Beer Co. in Alton, IL, and one of my friends who takes his camera everywhere was there. Once we had taken a few, Trevor had both Jordan & I turn around with our backs facing the camera. I was confused & said, The camera can’t even see our faces" So I turned around & when I did I was SHOCKED. I really was not expecting Jordan to propose like that. I thought he would never catch me off guard. We got to have a celebration later that day.
Our wedding day was better than we could’ve ever dreamed. We had prayed so much that our wedding day would just show everyone a glimpse of Jesus, along with our hearts for one another."
