My newly spouse and I met at Carle working nights!
I knew Timothy was the one when I was excited to work, knowing we’d be working together. 12 hour shifts on nights as a nurse are long and tiring, but we’d talk and joke during our downtime, and it made the evenings spent at work so much better.
We were in Lake of the Ozarks for my younger cousins’ HS graduation party. She asked me to take senior pictures out on the lake. After some convincing, I got ready and we went out on the boat. We pulled up to a dock and Timothy was standing there. I was completely oblivious, and my only question was Why are you in church clothes?!” From there he started talking and I heard nothing after that; the answer was obviously yes!
Our wedding day was better than I ever could have dreamed. My DRESS, the decor, the venue, and our family and friends. My grandfather marrying us will always mean the world to me. I think what made our day even more special, was returning home after travel nursing the last few years, and getting to see people we haven’t seen since. It truly was the most perfect day."
