We met a few times at some high school parties and then 2015 he slid into my DMs. Blake and I just clicked. We started out with no expectations and that suddenly turned into the rest of our lives! The proposal was A SHOCKER! I had no idea it was coming. My family was taking fall photos. When we got there we were doing couples pictures and I was sitting on a stool and Blake was standing behind me. The photographer asked him to change positions and when I turned around he was down on one knee! Our wedding was in late October and we were so lucky to have the perfect weather! I woke up to a warm, sunny day. We had a small ceremony in the front yard of our home, surrounded by close family. We then were able to eat a quick lunch, get lots of family photos and then sneak away for couples pictures. My husband and I went and WE GOT TATTOOS in between our ceremony and reception. Best decision ever! That evening we joined back up with our family for a big reception. Lots of drinks, BBQ and cupcakes. The only thing that could have been better about our day is if I was not in a walking boot with a fractured ankle, but that didn’t stop us from having a perfect day!"
