There’s no specific moment when I knew Justin was The One” for me. From the moment we met, I felt like I’d known him forever and that feeling hasn’t changed since. We can talk for hours about nothing, he makes me laugh harder than I thought I ever could, and he has the deepest love for me and our relationship. There’s never been a doubt in my mind that he’s my person. Justin’s proposal was a total surprise to me! We had talked here and there about getting married, but when the time came it definitely caught me off guard. Justin proposed to me on Friday, September 3, 2021. We had already made plans to go out for date night when I was done with my work day. After coming home and getting myself ready, I found Justin sitting in our living room on the couch with our cat, TC. He asked me to come sit with him for a minute before heading out for our date. He took my hands in his and started to tell me all things he loved about me, our life together, and how much our relationship truly means to him. He reached behind a couch pillow, pulled out the ring box, got on one knee and asked me to marry him. In that moment, I was so shocked! All I could say was, "Really??" Of course I accepted and then sent texts to family and friends with the big news. Best. Date night. Ever! We were married on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Pear Tree Estate in Champaign IL. It was by far our happiest, and most perfect day. Our wedding day was everything we ever wanted and more. From spending the morning together before rushing off to get ready, to our first look and photos, our vows, and our first dance, our wedding was so intentional and special to us. The best part of our day was being surrounded by the family and friends who have so much love for us and our relationship.
