We were friends in high school. He recently had moved back to the area. We ran into each other at a cancer benefit and started talking. He had a really great pick up line. We picked up right where we left off 10 years ago. He proposed on Christmas morning (2021) which surprised me and our kids! We decided to have a destination wedding in 2023 at Dreams Playa Mujeres.
