We met when Kyle was singing at The Stagger Inn in Lexington! My friend Paige invited me to Kentucky one weekend to visit some of her college friends and go to Keeneland. We stumbled upon Kyle’s show, and decided we liked what we heard and stayed the entire evening. After talking and him singing my Jason Isabell request of “Cover Me Up,” I knew I wanted to see more of him.Kyle and I were long distance for our first year together (me in Edwardsville, IL and him outside of Nashville). We would talk for hours on the phone, and I loved that it seemed like nothing for him to drive over 5 hours to come visit. But it hit me when he dropped everything to be with me for my grandpa’s funeral that Kyle was someone I didn’t want to be without. Not too long after, I made a phone call to my parents saying, “I’m moving to Nashville!” We got married on an old horse farm surrounded by our family and friends in the beautiful Tennessee countryside. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, we felt so loved!”
