We first knew of each other when we started going to Lake Land at the same time. Then one Saturday night we were at the same wedding reception. After a little bit of courage, I finally asked him to dance with me. We danced every slow song after that. After the fact I found out his sister was mad that he wouldn’t get off the dance floor and stayed so late. On our separate way home that night, he messaged me first and we haven’t stopped talking since. The funniest part was that his dad had been bugging him for years to date me and one of my closest friends, his cousin, had been telling me for years to date him.
After almost five years of dating , he finally proposed. It was on a random Sunday right before my birthday. I had no idea and the pictures prove it. I knew he was the one when we could have so much fun together but when times got tough he was always there for me. He’s the one I want to spend all my time with. We got married in January and it was 13 degrees outside. All of our closest family and friends were able to make it. What else would you want to do when it’s that cold outside?! It was one of the best days of our lives and one we’ll never forget!”
