Griffin and I met in college when I attended an event at the Baptist Student Center where he worked as an intern. They held multiple weekly meals and gatherings that I kept going back to to get to hangout with the cute guy with long hair that worked there. I knew Griffin was the one because through the trials of college during Covid, and all that surrounded that, he was always there for me. He supported me, loved me, and held me together when times got tough. From the first time meeting him, I had felt a connection with him that quickly turned into feeling incomplete when he wasn’t around. He is the other half of my soul!
When it came time to propose, Griffin took me to the park that I grew up going to as a kid and that meant so much to me. I knew it was coming, so we hiked the half mile to his proposal spot with extreme anticipation and glee. On top of a giant granite rock, overlooking the place I grew up, he proposed. It was absolutely perfect!
My wedding day was absolutely perfect. We had a small church wedding with a potluck reception and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Both sides of our family gathered to celebrate our marriage and it was the perfect symbol of our love and our lives becoming one.
I always recommend Vayda Jane to friends that are getting married, they gave me everything I wanted in a dress appointment and I left feeling amazing with my perfect dress.“
