In the summer of 2023, Charlie & Paris met thanks to a plan made by their dads. Paris was invited to the Ringdom to help teach Alec’s three sons how to show pigs. What she didn’t know was that one of those little boys” was actually Charlie, very much her age. When Paris arrived & realized the surprise, neither of them knew that moment would change everything. A few weeks later, Paris returned to the Ringdom to clip the pigs & get them show-ready. While leaving the barn, she slipped while climbing over a gate & injured her leg. Charlie didn’t hesitate. He rushed to the barn to get the side-by-side, drove her to the house, & cleaned the cut on her leg before she headed to the doctor. Later that day, Paris arrived home expecting to rest—only to find Charlie at her front door holding hand-picked wildflowers. With a simple smile, he said, “I’m here to walk your pigs for you. I know you can’t walk right now.” From that moment on, chores were shared, conversations lasted longer, and something special quietly grew. Between barn days, kindness, and a whole lot of heart, Charlie and Paris found their forever. Charlie asked Paris to be his girlfriend on a carnival ride at the Effingham County Fair a few weeks later, & the rest is history.

Our wedding day was everything we had prayed for & more. From washing one another’s feet at sunrise a symbol of laying down our lives for each other just as Jesus laid down His life for us, to sharing the vows we wrote ourselves in front of our closest family & friends, every moment reflected the love & commitment we want our marriage to be built upon.

There was so much joy woven throughout the day: donut hour, Sweet Tea & Jesus, a choreographed first dance, and countless moments of laughter, happy tears, and celebration with the people we love most.

It wasn’t just a beautiful wedding, it was the perfect beginning to our marriage, and a day we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.🤍✨
